Natalie is the dedicated expert who ensures every Chapman Bag meets the highest standards of quality. With years of experience at Chapman, she inspects each bag before it leaves the factory. Once the bags are complete, Natalie thoroughly examines them for any imperfections, ensuring that every stitch is perfect. She has the final say in determining whether our bags are ready for sale and is known for catching even the smallest flaws. So, when your Chapman bag arrives, beautifully finished and carefully packed, you can thank Natalie for her unwavering attention to detail.

Phil

Made to Measure

Phil cuts every inch of our canvas by hand and eye - a task that demands precision and care. It's no surprise, then, that his other passion is building exact scale models of classic aircraft like the Supermarine Spitfire. With an eye for detail and a love of British icons, Phil brings the same precision and pride to Chapman as he does to his model aircraft.

Jayne is a true artist. From ceramic to stone, feather to leather Jayne has worked her skilful magic on them all. At Chapman, her skill shines in leather painting and finishing - adding beauty, character, and a touch of magic to every bag she works on.

Sean has devoted his working life to leather craft. Selecting, cutting, and working each hide to bring out its best takes both experience and instinct - skills he’s honed over decades. His craftsmanship lies at the very heart of our workshop.

As our Workshop Manager, Darran keeps the Chapman workshop running smoothly. A lifelong leatherworker, he’s spent years crafting shoes and bags with expert hands. Today, he brings that same care, knowledge, and calm leadership to the heart of our workshop.
